Callum Cussen

Hiya, I’m a Lead UX Designer for Shift7, a Merkle Company. I’m a Keen Listener and I enjoy talking and learning about the problems people are facing in their lives. I use design thinking to help me solve problems and create innovative digital solutions that are intuitive and useful. I’m passionate about creating a positive impact for people and businesses.

I’m currently working with AARP focused on social impact issue areas that include family caregiving, money, and work & jobs. I have led the end-to-end design and research for projects, provided guidance on accessibility, and helped shape the AARP design system. 

I am originally from the UK and am now based in Maryland, where I enjoy cycling and documenting the trails. I enjoy providing people with a point of view down the trail on my YouTube channel.

I’m constantly looking to learn new skills and improve my knowledge to create inclusive and accessible experiences. I’m currently studying to become a CPACC Accessibility Specialist. 

As a lead designer, I enjoy helping other designers by providing them with guidance and support as an ADPList Mentor. I have found value from my mentors throughout my career.
